The National Company «Romanian Post» announces that it has begun the distribution of pensions for the month of May. Thus, all necessary measures have been taken for the distribution of social rights (pensions) to be carried out in the shortest time», announces the Romanian Post on Sunday.
«Through a joint effort of the Ministry of Labor and Social Solidarity, the Ministry of Finance, the National Pension House, as well as our partners in the banking sector, the pensions for the month of May will be distributed in advance by the postmen, starting today. We want to be able to bring this gratitude to our customers, pensioners, to have their pensions as early as possible, so they can enjoy, as is normal, the Easter holidays in peace, with family and loved ones», said Valentin Stefan, the general manager of the National Company «Romanian Post».
The management of the Romanian Post thanks the employees who fulfill their duties with professionalism and dedication, putting above all the care for people, especially for pensioners.
For the advance payment of pensions for the month of May 2024, by postal order, the amount of 1,961,165 million lei is transferred to the National Company «Romanian Post» from the state social insurance budget, respectively 39,359 million lei from the state budget, and to the commercial banks the amount of 6,346.97 million lei from the state social insurance budget, respectively 683,898 million lei from the state budget.
The total amount needed for the advance payment of pensions amounts to 9.31.39 million lei.
