Dara Bubamara recently clashed with Sloba Radanović over the song «Infarkt moje duše» which appeared on Sloba’s new album. The song had previously been recorded by Dara a few years earlier with Željko Nikolić.
The dispute was prolonged, ending with Dara’s team removing the song from YouTube. Dara explained the situation by saying, «Marina Tucaković called me in 2021 to listen to the song. I came, I was thrilled, I recorded the song with Željko Nikolić, a guy who’s just starting out… The authors have this song, right, and Sloba hears it. He offered the song to Ceca and Tanja Savić to record as a duet. Ceca refused. He knew the song was bought!» Dara revealed during the ‘Amiži show’ broadcast.
Disappointed by her colleague’s actions, Dara is determined to seek justice to the very end.
«Željko heard that Sloba was boasting that it’s his new song. I was at the funeral of Sloba’s father, helping him, and at no point did he call either me or Željko! The song was sold twice! Rale had worked on the song with Marina. Sloba is trying to trip up a guy who’s just starting out. That’s why I pulled the song from YouTube. Now there will be court proceedings and all sorts of things happening,» the singer said angrily.
«He wanted marketing at my expense. This has become a trampling over the dead! I was there personally when the money for the song was given. The lawyers have spoken with Rale, we’ll see what happens,» reiterated Dara.
