An online survey conducted by Epsilon on behalf of PSD reveals that the current general mayor Nicușor Dan is in first place in the preferences of the electorate with 29%, followed by Gabriela Firea with 25%, Sebastian Burduja with 17%, Cristian Popescu Piedone with 16%. Mihai Enache (AUR) and Diana Șoșoacă are tied with 4%.
The survey shows that if Piedone were to withdraw from the race, then Gabriela Firea would be in first place in the voting intention with 35%, followed by Nicușor Dan with 31% and Burduja with 19%.
On the other hand, if Gabriela Firea were to withdraw from the race, the survey shows that Nicușor Dan would be in first place in the voting intention with 35%, followed by Piedone with 26% and Burduja with 2%.
The survey shows that 63% of respondents believe that Bucharest has been heading in the wrong or very wrong direction in the last four years, and 57% are dissatisfied or very dissatisfied with the activity of the current mayor.
The survey was conducted between May 20-2, 2024, through online questionnaires answered by 5.12 Bucharest residents. The margin of error at the level of the entire sample: ±5%, at a confidence level of 90%.
