The host of Aces Direct, Mirela Vaida, shared with her fans on social media one of the most difficult experiences of her life. Her 7-year-old son, Vladimir, underwent surgery on both eyes. Mirela always keeps her followers updated on her life events, and this moment was no exception.
On her Instagram account, the star wrote: «I have lived the hardest days of my life. Vladimir, my middle son, had surgery on both eyes. 😔 A surgery that I knew about since February and thought I was prepared for. I wasn’t! It was terrible, traumatizing for me as a parent, as a mother. It is so painful to see your child lying on the bed, under the effect of general anesthesia, to feel helpless, weak. To see his aggression when he wakes up (the effect of anesthesia, which the ICU doctor had told me about), his screams, shouts, hits, his crying with ‘tears of blood’. 😔 I would leave him crying, so he wouldn’t see me, my husband would go in, he would stay for 5 minutes, then he would come out crying and we would switch. And so on! I tried to prepare him, but what could I tell a 7-year-old child?»
Everything is fine when it ends well. Mirela Vaida announced to her online followers that her little boy is home and his recovery is going as well as possible. «Lately, I haven’t been myself! I haven’t slept for entire nights and I felt, daily, a ball of fire in my stomach. I realized, once again, that nothing is important in this world! Nothing! Only health! 🙏 I want to thank from the bottom of my heart the lady doctor and her entire team for their professionalism, empathy, dedication, attention, and care! Now, Vladimir is home! ❤️ Home, in his bed, among his toys! His condition is good, he is energetic, lively, eats, plays! Children have a fantastic power of regeneration! I put myself in the shoes of all parents who go through such moments, those who spend days, entire months in the hallways of hospitals, who pray on their knees for their children, who lean against the walls of the resuscitation sections. I am with them with all my soul! 🙏 How much strength they must have! 🙏 I understood, once again, that there is no greater force in the Universe, there is no healing energy and power greater than a parent’s love for their child.❤️ May God keep our children healthy!», she added.
